On the 28th April, 2007, principal photography took place on the short film, A Dose of the Guilts, a seven-minute venture, produced by Gaslaugh Productions Ltd.

Written and directed by Bryan Baker, filming commenced at 8am that thankfully mild Saturday Spring morning, on location in Howth, Co. Dublin, eventually wrapping nearly fourteen hours later. Shot independently, the entire piece takes place in a bedroom, gratiously supplied by Mac Lennon and Nadia Pitt.

A Dose of the Guilts stars Aideen O'Donnell, Ed Beausang and Bryan Baker, and was filmed and edited by Alan and Steven Tully of AV Productions Ltd, ably assisted by Philip Cullen and Paul Gosker.

The title track from A Dose of the Guilts is Paying for your Loving (Needham/Molloy). Performed by Sean Needham and produced by Dave Molloy, further details on both musicians can be found at;

Special thanks is also afforded to Veronica Baker, Paul Baker, the Ann Curtis Agency, all the crew at Filmbase, Cine Electric, Billy Treacy and Alex Synnott, who printed the champagne bottle.

A Dose of the Guilts tells the story of a young married socialite, played by Aideen O'Donnell, who likes nothing better than to play away at home while her husband (Bryan Baker) is away on his many golfing trips. Her latest conquest is a hard-of-hearing bloke (Ed Beausang), plucked from the Leeson Street night scene, and clearly out of his depth.

As the drama unfolds, it is clear that it is not just the wife who becomes riddled with a dose of the guilts.

The completed project received a great reception when it premiered on Saturday, the 14th July, as part of the 19th Galway Film Fleadh. The film was also short-listed for the Boston Irish Film Festival and the Waterford Film Festival in November, 2007. In June 2008, the movie featured at the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival in Toronto, Canada, as part of its Slap 'N' Tickle programme, before embarking on a tour of Canada with 10 other short films as part of the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival Best of Shorts 2008 National Tour.

In September 2008, 'A Dose of the Guilts' received its television premiere on RTE 2, Ireland's National Television Network.

In January 2009, 'A Dose of the Guilts' made its Australian debut at Bondi Beach, Sydney, as part of the Love Bites programme at the Flickerfest 18th International Short Film Festival.

A Dose of the Guilts is represented by Network Ireland Television.
